You are all probably aware of what pineapples are, they’re a sweet fruit that is rich in nutrients. But, there are some things about pineapples you probably didn’t know.
Pineapples came to be known as just that because of their similar resemblance to pinecones and they didn’t originate in Hawaii. Christopher Columbus introduced Europe to pineapples after one of his expeditions to South America, and this is where they are believed to be originated. 5. Digestion: Eating pineapples improves digestion because pineapples are high in fiber and water. This helps prevent constipation and promotes regularity and a healthy digestive tract.
6. Fertility: When the diet is rich in antioxidants, they have been shown to improve fertility. The antioxidants prevent free radicals from damage reproductive organs. The antioxidants in pineapples like vitamin C, beta-carotene and vitamins and mineral, copper, zinc, and folate have the properties that affect both male and female fertility.
