Plaque is a soft, sticky film that builds up on the teeth and it contains millions of bacteria. The bacteria in the plaque can cause tooth decay and gum disease if they’re not removed regularly through brushing and flossing. When you eat the bacteria in the plaque uses the sugars in the food to produce acids that can eat away at tooth enamel. Repeated attacks cause enamel to break down and can eventually result in a cavity.
Plaque is colorless and very difficult to see. When there are heavy plaque deposits it can be seen easier and may look like a thick white deposit of food stuck between the teeth. It is constantly growing in the mouth which leads to tartar build-up and the best way to prevent that is to brush and floss every day. Recipe 1:
Ingredients
– 15 grams walnut shell
– Water
Put the shell in a pot and boil the water for 15 minutes. Dip your toothbrush into the mixture and brush your teeth for 5 minutes. Do this 3 times a day.
Recipe 2:
Ingredients
– 2 teaspoons sunflower seeds
– 2 teaspoons lime flower
– ½ liter of water
Add the ingredients to a bowl, cover with water and simmer for 30 minutes. Brush your teeth with the mixture after each meal.
Recipe 3:
Apple cider vinegar is a great remedy for removing plaque. Swishing ACV in your mouth and then scrubbing your teeth with ACV is a great way to get rid of plaque. After using ACV be sure to rinse your mouth out with water.

Ingredients
– 1 ½ tablespoons mountain wormwood leaves
– 2 deciliter fermented wine
Pour the wine over the leaves and cover it for 2 hours. After it has set, strain the mixture and brush your teeth.
