To prepare this delicious dessert you will need the next ingredients:
2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips, divided
6 tbsp creamy peanut butter, divided
7 oz marshmallow fluff
1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup of dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
11 oz caramels
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
With this amount of ingredients you should get 12 to 15 bars depending on their size.
Instructions for preparation:
Line an 11X7-inch baking tray with baking paper.
Place one cup of chocolate chips and three tbsp of peanut butter in a heatproof bowl. Melt the ingredients in a microwave for 1 minute and stir the mixture until it is smooth and well combined.
Pour the melted chocolate in a prepared pan and spread it evenly. Place the pan in the freezer for 2 to 3 minutes or until it is hardened enough.
While waiting for the melted chocolate to harden, in a clean bowl place 1/4 cup of peanut butter, the marshmallow fluff, and powdered sugar. Stir the ingredients using a wooden spoon or spatula until you get soft dough. (This can also be done in a mixing bowl with a dough hook).
Remove this “dough” from the bowl and press it with your fingers on top of the chocolate layer.
Sprinkle peanuts on top of it, while gently pressing them in.
In a small saucepan put the heavy whipping cream and caramels. Cook them over medium heat, while stirring constantly until they are melted. Immediately pour this mixture over the peanuts, spreading it all over with the back of a wooden spoon.
Place it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes until is set.
In a heatproof bowl, melt the remaining chocolate chips and peanut butter. Pour over a layer of caramel, spreading it evenly.
Place the pan in the refrigerator for ten minutes until the chocolate is set.
Using a sharp knife, cut it into bars.
The final part of this culinary adventure is enjoying this fantastic dessert!
